I am updating my old post with some good news!

First, I believe the missing AirPlay points have been restored! Please check your AirPlay points totals to make sure you have received all your points (Note: I am looking into a report of Baseball points).

Thank you for your patience in this, we have resolved the issue causing the missing points, so this weekends points should show up like normal.

Secondly, on the prizes front. We have received a lot of feedback about the recent change to football prizes from Quarterly to per Event.

Based on your feedback, we have decided to go back to quarterly prizes starting with the NFL Post Season.

Thank you for the posts and emails, you were very convincing!

To be clear, we will continue to award 1 random and 1 skill prize for the remaining games of the regular season, and when the post season starts, we will be once again awarding quarterly top score and random prizes.

Hi all,

I want to give you an update on these two hot AirPlay issues.

For the missing AirPlay Points, we have finally discovered the cause. Here is the background... We have been working on an update to our scoring system to deal with the issue of people playing our entertainment games (such as Big Brother) multiple times in a single night, jumping from time zone to time zone.

We have built a process that will only award players points for the first event they play in for any particular episode, since we really want you to play while you watch for the most fun!

This change will be coming in the near future. We are currently testing the functionality, and while it is present, it is turned off.

It turns out that one of the changes we made to get ready for this process has started hiding points already, and for the wrong games.

We are implementing a fix, and plan on rolling it out late this week. At that point, all missing points dating back to 10/20 (when the issue first arose) will be retroactively credited to you. To be really clear, the points have all been recorded, they are just not being displayed properly.

I am very sorry for this issue, and for the delay in getting this fixed. We have been working very hard to figure out what was happening and how to fix it, and I am relieved that no points were lost, only being hidden.

I will post a followup when the fix has been rolled out.


As for the NBA, we have not been able to give you much information up to this point, and unfortunately, there is still not much information available.

We love the NBA Realtime game, and are doing everything we can to bring you another season. We are working through licensing agreements with our partners, and until that work is complete, we don't have any definitive information on the AirPlay season. I will do my very best to keep you updated, and we all really hope we will be playing NBA Realtime fantasy together very soon!


I know I mention this a lot, but as always, we are actively reading the forums, and have heard your feedback on the prizing changes, as well as the weekly football production.

THANK YOU so very much....i lil information goes a long way Kev.....and since we hadn't heard from ya....some of us (me included) assumed the worst and even had a tad less fun cuz we were in the dark about the basketball and point updates.

Anywayz.....We can totally understand the licensing agreement thangy.....NBA wants to make sure you are paying the dues for the use of their logos and franchise names/players in your game (Tiz something ALL live interactive/fantasy game companies have to deal with for PRO sports).......All ya had to do was let us know this.....Unless you enjoy reading our rants LOL.

Also tiz good to hear that no AP Lifetime points were lost since 10/20 (including segment/quarter win tallies i hope too)...AND someday we will get our just due (Some us are concerned cuz we have invested a good amount of our free time to play these games.). Thaz all......

HUGE suggestion......PLEASE keep us informed ("Keep the AirPlay clear" so to speak)....like we do with you.....and letz keep this forum as an open channel to help improve the AirPlay experience. Honestly i think you should give boknows and BTFalcons a second/third chance too (remove their bans from the forum) i trust they would behave much betterer if they were on "double secret probation" as Dean Wurmer would have it in National Lampoon's "Animal House".

Prayers for the AP techies/proggies......for quick successful tests....and delivery to the AirWorld.

PS. Does this mean i can't play two different AP Football games at the same time anymore? -Which some argue is not fair.....but not a violation of TOS. Sorta like lag hehe...has itz advantages and disadvantages (like missing a lotta play calls and being blind in 2nd game)...

Thanks for the update.Now can you let us know what is happening on the home page,instead of keeping us in the dark for a week.Will keep cheking everyday for the NBA to start up,and since u gave us some info,i will quit calling the office everyday.

Anywayz...from what i could tell, the Lifetime AP points update worked for Call the Play Football (NFL)....but not for College Call the Play Football....which still looks same in my account...Also not sure if game/quarter wins updated....

I can't comment on the baseball but in total i got about 70K AP lifetime points for this update.......and was definitlely expecting more....thaz it for now FYI.

ALL AP POINTS and WINS are updating properly! KUDOS.....to the AirPlay Staff!......also the college game was excellent calling and well... ....The pro game got terminated just a tad early (missed overtime) but the caller wasn't too bad.

Widowmaker here, I want to thank Zev and Mike
for the update on the missing points and for helping me with my missing prize from last month. Appreciate the update on NBA. I do not have any issues to whine about. I would like to see football game prediction box slit in half. Half always open for wagers and the other half used by gamecallers for your polls, promos, there comentaries; maybe even announce global 1/4 and random winners. Do you realize that every time they lift there poll or promo it erases are prediction. If they do not predict the lenghth of the commercial break properly they do not give us our gaming area back quick enuf to play. The dreaded no-call is aggrevating enuf when self-imposed; like making a sandwich or a drink but when you had a bet down and it got erased; it is real frustrating. Give it some thought. Thanks again for hearing us.

(,,,) ),,,) until they get in the way of the game (by removing your play screen and replacing it with poll screen)...often at inappropriate times (like during "hurry-up" offenses or 2-minute drills) when tiz hard enuf just to get the play in, much less do a poll.

Is there any way we can manually get our play screen back with, let's say, a button like "return to game". That way we are not at the mercy of the caller to get our play screen back to make a call......OR just make the poll screen a "pop-up" so we can see and move BOTH windows ........"Play and Poll" we can call it hehe.........

thanks for changing the football prizes back soon i like the quarter prizes way better because if u get off to a bad start u can just wait untill next quarter and get a fresh start. thank u so much that just mad my day and i have a suggestion. maybe instead of having a random prize winner you could give 2nd place a 25 dollar gift card to becuase i come in second a lot and id rather get a prize for second that for a random winner. i hope that u consider this. Is that a possibility for College Hoops? I love NBA hoops but may settle for college. I play more football now but I don't know it's not as fun for me as basketball. If there's anything we can do, let us know. I would be willing to pay a little more for Basketball. I don't know if it's a finance thing with you guys but I'm sure all of us would be willing to pay a little more for our entertainment.

IDK about anyone else but Stuck and I probably would pay extra. (Stuck is an AP addict - ask our kids).

Anyway, please keep us posted if with nothing else but, no more info this week. Keep prayin or something like that.
